It’s Important We All Give Back
Throughout the years I have been involved in different charity events around the world. I deeply feel that we all have an obligation to support the people in need. My main focus has especially been on children, education and the unfortunate people in our society.
Please take some time to look at the organizations below and support in whatever way you can financially – or even by sharing the message of these charities that are near and dear to my heart.
LittleBigHelp works to create better opportunities for street children and children living in slum areas of Kolkata, India. LittleBigHelp work to secure their basic human rights such as education protection, basic health care, and nutrition- each and every day. We cannot help everybody, but our belief is that everybody can help some. And your support will get us a long way!
Anita has been supporting this great cause since 2010 by performing at some of their Charity Events in Denmark, and by spreading the word about LittleBigHelp in her international network.

Pingalwara - A Special Home
Pingalwara was established back in 1948 by Bhagat Puran Singh, who devoted his life to the homeless and unfortunate of the society – the homeless orphans, cripples, incurably sick, mentally and physically handicapped citizens. There are more than 1600 people living at Pingalwara now – and there is an incredible atmosphere of love – just like one big family.
It was a heart touching experience for Anita to visit Pingalwara in Amritsar (Punjab, India). She sang and danced with all the kids and had a very special and memorable meeting and interaction with the mentally challenged women.

Christel House is transforming how kids, their families and future generations permanently escape poverty. Much more than a school, Christel House provides high quality education, nutritious meals regular health care, character and life skills development, and career counseling to the most impoverished and at-risk students.

Anita is a great supporter of Christel House, because they make a life changing difference for more than 4000 children worldwide with an admirable close to 100% graduation rate. These students have dreams and aspiration, and Christel House helps them turn those dreams into reality.
